The International Medical Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital was authorized by Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Shandong Provincial Government. It provides outpatient, inpatient, physical examination, health management and other special medical services for foreigners and VIPs.

　　The International Medical Department covers an area of 3,925 square meters, including 2,500 square meters of outpatient examination area and 1,425 square meters of ward area. There are 13 independent consultation rooms in the outpatient examination area, including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, stomatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, traditional Chinese medicine, dermatology where multi-disciplinary treatment (MDT) was set up. The Department is equipped with independent examination facilities where many examinations can be performed, such as electrocardiogram, ultrasound examination (abdomen, body surface, blood vessel and heart), gastrointestinal endoscopy, CT, MRI, blood sampling test, MR. The Department has a pharmacy, an inpatient department, and a cashier office. The ward has 13 beds (11 in single rooms and 2 in suites) and a VIP gastrointestinal endoscopy room. One-stop medical services are available to patients.
